Anita has had a lifelong passion for makeup, discovering her love for the craft in her teens. In her late twenties, she returned to formal study at the LA Makeup Academy, further refining her skills after training in both London and New York.

In 2013, Anita gained invaluable hands-on experience assisting Ireland’s leading celebrity makeup artists, Paula Callan and Derrick Carberry, for over eight months. She remains committed to continual professional development, regularly upskilling with internationally renowned celebrity MUAs including Mia Connor, Katie Jane Hughes, Hannah Martin, Kristina Gasperas and Lisa Shannon.

Through years of dedication and experience, Anita has built an impressive portfolio, creating flawless, modern looks for many of Ireland’s well-known faces, including Pippa O’Connor, Glenda Gilson, Letitia Herod, and actors Niamh Walsh and Ann Skelly.

Her work has been featured across television, magazines, and leading publications such as Xposé Magazine, Confetti, IMAGE, IMAGE Brides, Bash, RSVP, and Irish Wedding Diary. Anita’s artistry has also been showcased on popular blogs including One Fab Day, Wedding Sparrow, and Style Me Pretty.

Anita has over 15 years of experience working with brides and is widely recognised for her excellence within the bridal industry. Her work has been honoured with multiple prestigious awards, reflecting both her talent and dedication to her craft.

She was awarded Bridal MUA of the Year (Leinster) 2018 and All-Over Regional Winner for Bridal Makeup & Hair Salon of the Year 2018 at the Irish Wedding Awards. Anita also won MUA of the Year 2016 with the Irish Wedding Diary and Bridal Salon of the Year 2016 with Mrs2Be.

In addition to her wins, Anita has been a finalist for MUA of the Year 2016 with WeddingsOnline, a finalist at the Irish Wedding Awards 2017, and a finalist at the Irish Hair & Beauty Awards in 2017, 2019, and 2022.
